In this unsettled and confusing world, there has never been a better time to embrace the absurd art of clowning!
In this workshop, we explore how to embrace failure and chaos, re-learn how to play, and experience a different way of looking at the world - through the eyes of a ridiculous, innocent clown! We so often take things far too seriously, but clowning reminds us of the lightness and absurdity in life.
Annie is a clown and kundalini yoga teacher, born in Canada, now based in France making shows with her company Théâtre Amok, and teaching theatre, yoga and clowning. She finds many links between clowning and her own spiritual journey and sees clowning as an invitation to explore both your shadows and your talents and ultimately celebrate who you are.
We invite you to join Annie in this hilariously absurd practice of humour and humility, where we can find the courage to laugh at our failures. It will help you gain confidence being in front of an audience, help you to be more accepting of all parts of yourself and, of course, include a whole lot of laughter, and your very own red clown nose!
